The founder, Belinda B. Bennett, became a notary public in 1998. Her background  experiences consist of being a loan processing assistant, leasing consultant, office manager for Homeland Security, an office manager for a property management company, legal admin assistant for a criminal law firm and an independent certified notary signing agent. In 2006 she formed a business, Bennett's Notary Public Services and since then decided to create Belinda Baker Bennett LLC dba NC Notary Service to offer more services that covered more than just notary assistance to mortgage and title companies. She realized that there is a need to help other notaries that specifically live in the other 99 counties in North Carolina. To help clients locate her quicker, NC Notary Signing and NC Notary Signing Service was also created! This is a company, located in Mecklenburg county that has over 15 years of notarial experience and offers general notary and e-notary services for Mecklenburg county and surrounding areas throughout North Carolina.
As a notary, she enjoys being of service to her community. She makes herself available to the elderly and people with disabilities by making it less stressful for the client and their families when offering mobile notary services to them rather it be late evenings, early mornings, weekends or holidays.
She has listened to many complaints over the past 11 year,  that banks have turned down their own customers and say they "cannot" notarize for them. Well, when the bank won't notarize your forms, Belinda can!
As a Certified Notary Signing Agent, she provides services in loan closings for investors, realtors, attorneys, title agencies and buyers alike. She understands that many homeowners work a 9 - 5 job and instead of them being inconvenienced with leaving early or not coming in at all, she's available many late evenings, weekends and holidays to allow her schedule to work with their availability.
You will not find a more dedicated, customer service driven and well
trained professional notary and Certified Notary Signing Agent like her that have  performed over 1,000 successful notarial acts and closings since she began over 20 years ago! She continues to educate herself on the most recent changes.
If you are a borrower, you may not be aware that on October 3, 2015, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's new mortgage disclosure rule went into effect. It requires lenders to combine information from the existing forms into two separate disclosures for most residential mortgage applications filed on or after that date. TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures (TRID) is the correct name it's called. This is put in place for your protection as a borrower, so that you will better understand your loan terms before you reach the closing. Also under the current rules, if you are the borrower, you may not see the final loan numbers until you're at the signing table. It will be necessary to have your loan officer or Realtor on speed dial for any questions or concerns you may have.
